Now for something totally retro. Whether or not you grew up playing Kings Quest and other classic adventure/RPG games, you should do yourself a really big favor and download the free Quest for Glory II remake from AGD Interactive. This is a real treat.
Quest for Glory II features lush hand-drawn backgrounds and beautifully rendered digitized character portraits and animations in the traditional Sierra format. Careful attention detail has been taken on each and every facet of the game – it has been completely reworked and revamped from the ground up.
Yes, it is that awesome. Totally retro. And if that’s not enough for you, check out these other free classic adventure game remakes by Infamous Adventures, including King’s Quest III: To Heir is Human. I would love to see these games ported to the iPhone or Wii. All you would need to do is port the free Adventure Game Studio run-time.
