You know that guy, the one that just passed you in the right-hand lane during rush hour, then swerved back in front of you, as if to say, “hey idiot! Can’t you go any faster?” You then end up tailing him for the next 20 miles. Sometimes, if he’s especially clever, he’ll try to get around a few more cars before finally dive-bombing an exit ramp from three lanes over. W00t! Good job, dude! Converting from one unit or data representation to another is something that comes up a lot in my line of work. That’s why this month I am pleased to recommend Online Conversion. Their tag line pretty much sums it up:

This site has something for everyone. One of my personal favorites is the Unix Times Conversion that turns Unix time stamps into something normal humans can read. The ASCII Engine code lookup tool is another fun one. Or, maybe you don’t (yet) dream in octal? You might want to check out the magical CHMOD Calculator.
